april 7. a sunday evening. 6:05 pm.
a friend told me to surrender outcomes.
it was a simple statement, stated on a simple morning, heading to a simple day’s work in the field. a statement of such quality and purposeful direction, an expression of peaceful existence.
there are paths, there are realities. there are patterns, obstacles and obsessions. we choose, we react, we plan, we make pacts, to ourselves and to others, of ideas and goals, yet there is a natural order of change that will always shine through the thickest haze.
a final and expected outcome is not always the case, nor will it always be true. be able and willing to transform when that time comes.
